Shereen Rubenstein, MSW, ACC, is a trained social worker and is currently an ICF certified coach. Her warm, honest, and direct approach allows for clarity and motivation. Shereen works with clients to gain greater awareness of their present circumstances in order to make meaningful and tangible shifts going forward. Her clients are held accountable for realistic steps so they can successfully attain their goals. She understands that accountability is sometimes the one critical piece necessary in making real change.
Shereen’s mental health experience includes coaching and counseling individuals and groups struggling with parenting, marital conflict, family communications, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and weight. She created and led Driven To Despair for four years, a parenting group for those struggling and raising challenging children. She also practiced as a doula, worked with victims of sexual assault, and taught Communication courses at George Washington Medical School.
Education and Training:
Ms. Rubenstein has completed a comprehensive coaching program and is recognized as an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Coach. She received her BA from the University of Maryland and earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Catholic University in Washington DC.
