Robert Greenstone, PsyD

Robert Greenstone, PsyD conducts a variety of assessments and provides therapeutic treatment for individuals from age 6 through adulthood.
His assessments include psychological, psychoeducational and adult ADHD screening, which may be appropriate for academic or vocational accommodations. His adult ADHD evaluations are appropriate for adults who hope to find clarification about their symptoms of inattention and/or hyperactivity. These targeted assessments are often welcomed by primary care physicians who may not feel comfortable prescribing psychostimulant medications to young adults or adults without such documentation.
In his treatment of children and teens, Dr. Greenstone actively includes parents, believing that they are more effectively treated within the context of their families. Because he has served as the clinical director of a substance abuse treatment center, he is very familiar with the substance use issues that often accompany ADHD in adolescence and young adulthood.
In his treatment of adults, he offers individual, couples and family therapy, working with his clients in a highly engaging and collaborative way. His approach is pragmatic and solution-focused, helping his clients understand how to enhance cognitive functioning as well as how to address psychological and interpersonal issues. Dr. Greenstone uses an integrative approach that incorporates cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapy techniques.
