Parenting Kids with ADHD:
Parenting a child with ADHD can be challenging and isolating. Most parenting books and resources are written for neurotypical children and there is a lack of individualized support and strategies for parents with children with ADHD. This support and strategies group is tailored to parents of children with ADHD. The group will provide a nonjudgmental space for parents to share their struggles and successes as well as learn ADHD-friendly parenting strategies that will make parenting easier, reduce stress and improve your relationship with your child.
In this group, you will:
-
- Share, gain and give support from fellow parents
- Identify and celebrate ADHD strengths
- Develop self compassion and sustainable self care practices
- Learn ADHD-Friendly parenting skills that address (smaller bullet points underneath: â—‹ Impulsivity â—‹ Emotional Dysregulation â—‹ Executive Function â—‹ Power Struggles â—‹ Parent-child relationships)
- And much more!
