This 8-session virtual program is for parents of elementary school children (ages 5-11).
At the end of this training, parents will walk away with a deeper understanding of how their unique child works and greater confidence in handling challenging moments calmly and effectively. During the training, parents will develop effective routines that are tailored to their family needs as well as a plan for how to address behaviors and discipline in a more effective way. Parents will also learn how to use parenting methods that teach children how to make better decisions and develop independence and social-emotional skills.
This program is most effective when paired with individual parent coaching sessions between groups. There will be two mandatory parent check-ins outside of group – once in October and once in November. You are welcome to schedule more parent check-ins as well. The goal of these individual sessions is to help provide tailored support to reinforce strategies and best meet the unique needs of your family.
We welcome all parenting situations. This group is meant to meet you where you are to help make lasting change and improve your family dynamics and parent-child relationships
* Our groups have 6-8 members, enough people to create a social environment. A maximum size of six (8) members ensures that everyone can fully participate each week. Because we offer small groups, we require advanced registration for all of our groups. There are times we will push the group back by a week or two to ensure strong participation. We appreciate your flexibility as we prioritize ensuring a group size that will be optimally therapeutic.
