An internship with The Chesapeake Center for ADHD, Learning and Behavioral Health is a structured academic opportunity that allows college students to apply academic skills and knowledge in the work‐place. The Marketing & Programs intern is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of The Chesapeake Center’s social media accounts and website, as well as support the promotion and implementation of group programs. Interns also have the opportunity to attend Chesapeake Center case conferences, Continuing Education meetings, Neuropsychological Seminars and clinical team meetings to gain exposure in the mental health field.
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION:

- Develop material and content to post on various social media platforms
- Assist with content for the website
- Design promotional material for programs and workshops
- Assist with additional marketing and communication efforts
- Assist in the development and promotion of group programs
- Co-facilitate group programs and engage with group participants between sessions
- Collect feedback from clients to inform future program initiatives
- Design and create monthly themes for the child waiting room community board
- Other tasks as assigned
