Hours of operation
The front desk is open to take your calls from 9 a.m. — 3 p.m., M-F. Most appointments are scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Some staff members offer limited hours — early, late or weekend.
Directions
By Metro
Take the Red Line to the Silver Spring station. The Center is a 10 minute walk north on Colesville Road, turn right on Spring Street, continue through the first traffic signal where Spring St. becomes Cedar Dt. We are ½ block past the traffic signal on the left — look for a two-story gray brick house.
By Car
From the Washington Beltway, take the Rt. 29/Colesville Rd. Exit South (Exit 30 or 30B depending upon the direction in which you are driving). Continue south 1 mile to Spring St. Turn left, proceed 2 blocks and turn right onto Ellsworth. You’ll see the county parking garage directly ahead on the right. After parking, return to Spring St. on foot, turn right (Spring St. becomes Cedar St. at this intersection.) The Center is on the left in the middle of the block – a gray two-story brick house.
Parking
Parking is conveniently located in a multi-story Montgomery County parking garage on Ellsworth St., only one block from the Center. Very limited metered parking (requiring quarters) is also available on the street directly in front of the Center.
Staff
All Chesapeake staff members offer appointments at the main center. Please inquire about days and hours for each staff member.
Center Director, Kathleen Nadeau, Ph.D. is only available for one-time consultations at the main Silver Spring center. She sees her clients in her Annapolis office.
