ADHD Articles

The Chesapeake ADHD Center of Maryland is committed to providing our clients with top quality information about ADHD as well as top quality assessment and treatment for ADHD. ADHD is a very complex syndrome, not only because it entails strengths and challenges across a broad spectrum of cognitive tasks and behaviors, but also because ADHD rarely exists in isolation. In adulthood, over 70% of adults with ADHD have at least one if not several coexisting conditions. At the Chesapeake Center, we are committed to treating individuals, not just focusing on their ADHD, but instead on their unique issues and challenges. In both assessment and in treatment, our goal is to understand all of the factors that may be getting in the way of success as well as to understand the strengths and interests of each individual so that we can help them capitalize upon them to develop a more satisfying life.

We have written this collection of articles to assist prospective clients in learning more about specific issues related to ADHD and LD, and about our approach to addressing these issues. Our articles are grouped by broad ADHD-related topics listed below.
